Dominic Treadwell-Collins

Dominic started his television career working out new ways for characters to die on ITV’s Midsomer Murders. From there he moved to Channel 5’s Family Affairs, eventually running the story department and producing the show. Dominic later joined BBC’s EastEnders as Story Producer for four years before a stint at Kudos’ Lovely Day, developing ITV’s Grantchester and BBC’s Man in an Orange Shirt. In 2015 he returned to EastEnders as Executive Producer, bringing Danny Dyer and his family into the Queen Vic and creating the show’s iconic ‘Who Killed Lucy?’ storyline which climaxed after a year with a week of live episodes, reaching over 20 million viewers and winning BAFTA, RTS, NTA, MIND, British Soap and Attitude awards.
Dominic then went on to join Blueprint Pictures as Head of Television, Executive Producing A Very English Scandal, starring Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw, written by Russell T Davies and directed by Stephen Frears, winning Golden Globe, Emmy, Critics Choice, Rose D'Or, RTS and BAFTA awards.
Dominic joined ITV Studios in December 2019 to launch his own label, Happy Prince.
At Happy Prince Dominic co-wrote and developed Graham Norton's Holding for ITV, Virgin Media and Acorn TV with Karen Cogan. Exec Produced Jamie Davis' You & Me with Russell T Davies and Alex Lamb for ITV. Dominic is also lead writer and Exec Producing Jilly Cooper's Rivals with Laura Wade for Disney+
Alexander Lamb

Alex kicked off his TV journey as a runner on Channel 4’s youth breakfast show T4 before joining Lion TV as a development intern. Alex’s drama career began storylining Emmerdale and then EastEnders before becoming Series Editor on beloved Shed Productions BBC1 show Waterloo Road overseeing the scripts for series 8 and 9 along with both writing and producing on series 9.
Alex returned to EastEnders in 2015 as Story Producer and amongst other plots oversaw the BAFTA winning ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale?. He then went on to produce two series of celebrated Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge for The Forge before becoming Executive Producer for the award winning third season. In 2019 Alex produced ITV ratings smash The Bay Series 2 for Tall Story Pictures before joining BBC Studios as Creative Executive where he oversaw a number of developments and was Executive Producer on Alibi’s We Hunt Together.
Alex joined Happy Prince as Executive Producer in April 2021, becoming Creative Director in 2023
He Exec Produced You & Me for ITVX and is Exec Producer on Rivals for Disney+.
Kathleen McLynn

Kathleen began her career in TV as an assistant in BBC Drama. From here, she moved to EastEnders where she script edited over eighty episodes, one of which won a BAFTA. She then worked as Development Producer at the BBC Writers Academy where she scouted and nurtured new talent before returning to in-house drama; developing a number of projects and script editing the Barbara Windsor biopic Babs and series 2 of Our Girl.
For The Forge Kathleen was Script Producer on series 2 of Ackley Bridge and script edited Jack Thorne’s Kiri and David Hare’s Collateral. She then joined Hera Pictures as Development Producer where she was also Script Executive on Honour and Script producer on series 2 of Temple.
Kathleen joined Happy Prince as Producer in September 2022.
Pia Masters

Pia started out in script development doing character research for Ronan Bennett on the first series of Topboy.
Since then she has worked across development with various drama and comedy writers and production companies. Pia worked in the script team with Peter Morgan for The Crown across series 2, 3 and 4 before going on to script edit David Nicholls' adaptation of his book Us for BBC1.
She joined Happy Prince in 2020 at the very beginning of the Happy Prince journey, building the slate together with Dom.
Karen English

Kaz joined ITV in 2001. Since then she’s worked for The London Studios assisting the MD and the Director of Studio Operations across shows for all the major UK broadcasters including Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Graham Norton Show, This Morning, and Have I Got News For You. Kaz then moved to work for the Director of Drama ITV, looking after award winning dramas like Broadchurch, Mrs Biggs and Downton Abbey.
Kaz joined ITV Studios Production Management in 2012 working for Sally Debonnaire, Director of Production, across all genres including the Soaps, ITVS Daytime, Entertainment, Drama and Factual shows.
In 2019 her love of drama beckoned once more and she joined Happy Prince as Executive Assistant.
Matthew Campbell

Matthew started his TV drama career in the admin team at EastEnders where he became the show’s Archivist before stepping up to be a Storyliner and then Script Editor. During his time in Walford he worked on the programme’s 30th Birthday celebrations which included the critically acclaimed ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale - Live Week’. Matthew went on to storyline Hollyoaks before script editing series 2 and 3 of Channel 4’s award winning drama Ackley Bridge for The Forge. Whilst at The Forge, Matthew was also part of the editorial team on Jack Thorne’s The Accident. Matthew has also worked in original scripted development for Amazon’s Audible and as part of the development team at Lime Pictures.
Matthew joined the team in March 2022 and is absolutely delighted to be working at Happy Prince.
Micha Oates

Micha’s career began at MTV, working on five series of award-winning teen soap, MTV Shuga. During her time as a researcher and assistant producer, she storylined episodes and worked closely with a team of international writers, producers, and directors from South Africa to Nigeria to India. She also produced and directed a number of trailers and campaigns for international broadcast.
Micha went on to help launch Paramount’s ‘Social Impact’ division, which aims to produce HETV with social purpose. She started off the development of a number of scripted and documentary projects before taking on a story consultant role in a three-month writers’ room for Canal Plus and AFX Pictures.
In addition, she has worked as a runner and 3rd AD on productions including BBC1’s Marriage, Channel 4’s award-winning Stath Lets Flats and Apple TV’s Slow Horses.
Micha joined Happy Prince in February 2022 and is developing a number of shows on our slate.
Kazuko Cowley

Kazu previously worked for media law firm Sheridans where she advised on all aspects of the development, production and financing of film and television programmes. During her time in private practice she was seconded to Warner Bros and Carnival Film and Television. Kazu moved in house to Chapman Entertainment working on children's animation series and then joined the business affairs team at ITV Studios to work on entertainment shows before following her passion for drama and moving across to the scripted side in 2013, where she has worked with Tall Story Pictures, Silverprint Pictures, Etta Pictures, Patrick Spence, Noho Film and Television and Multistory Media as business affairs lead across a wide range of drama productions.
Since joining Happy Prince in 2021, Kazu has been the business affairs lead on Holding for ITV, Virgin Media and Acorn TV, You and Me for ITVX and Rivals for Disney+.
